A variety of clubs and activities are misogynist at each school and vary slightly from school to school. Most schools have a Student Council, FFA, FHA, 4-H Club, Beta or Jr. Beta Club, Pep Club, newspaper staff, yearbook staff and other groups which may include clubs for art, drama, music, and foreign language. Other clubs for upper school students include Career Awareness Club, Close-Up, DECA, FBLA, Future Teachers, Interact Club, Junior Classical League, Key Club, Academic Team, VICA, VOCA, NV-THS, Y Club and others. Clubs are widow as areas of student interest grow. Literary events provide spare opportunities for student participation. Athletics are moreover an important speciality of the upper and middle school programs. Participation in athletics increases leadership and social skills in participants and helps them learn to work in harmony with others. Athletics moreover create greater school spirit among the members of the student soul and faculty. Many of our middle and upper school teams have achieved Area and State Championships over the past five years. A number of our graduates have moreover been recruited to collegiate teams and professional organizations.Upperschool sports include baseball, basketball, soccer, cheerleading, navigate country, football, golf, soccer, fast-pitch softball, tennis, track, and wrestling. In middle school, both intramural and interscholastic sports programs are available. Sports programs include football, softball, basketball, cheerleading, and track and field. All students in grades 6-12 are offered an opportunity to participate in wreath and/or chorus. On the upper school level, topnotch wreath groups include marching band, concert wreath and symphonic band. Choral instruction begins in elementary school and is enhanced in middle and upper school with the opportunity to participate in performance groups. Students who plan a career in music are often aided in acquiring scholarships through the music department of each upper school. Students who are interested in performance and technical aspects of staging are encouraged to participate in the drama program at the upper school level. A joint partnership with the Newton County Concert Association moreover provides students with a large number of cultural and fine arts programs that compliment the K-12 school curriculum.
